OK, so storage devices may not be the sexiest of products, but the all-new YuuWaa USB drives manage to bring a bit of excitement into the world of media storage a backup. And they look as if they have little eyes, which helps.

YuuWaa is an ingenious idea that mixes USB flash drive with online storage – the idea is simple: when you plug in your USB stick and store any data on it, everything is automatically backed up online.

You’ll have to register at www.yuuwaa.com, but once you do, all your data will be stored safely. You can also share all your media goodies easily with mates or groups – there’s no limit to the file size you can share via a secure link which is sent via email.

There are two capacity flavours to choose from: YuuWaa Plus has 58GB of memory, including 8GB on the USB drive and 50GB online, while YuuWaa Go offers up a 24GB 4GB USB flash drive with 20GB online capacity. They are on ale now and cost £19.99 and £9.99 respectively.
