Paul Smith gives it some bling

Fashion bigwig Paul Smith has launched a set of branded headphones with gold-plated stereo mini-plug and gold and aluminium housing.

The limited-edition Audio Technica headphones for Paul Smith, to use their full name, come with a fabric travel pouch and designer packaging for that exclusive touch.

The headphones themselves are based on a pair of Audio Technica ATH-ES55 headphones, with swivelling leather earpads and 40mm dynamic drivers taking care of business inside. The unmissable golden enclosures have both Audio Technica’s logo and Paul Smith’s scribble etched into them, in case you’re in any doubt of forgetting.

And the price, we hear you ask? Well, the ES55s normally go for £99, but Paul wants another £41 for his gold and his signature on the side. That’s £140 to you and me, and anyone who just has to have a pair can pick them up online or in Paul Smith stores.
