Lomo 360º spinner – cool panoramas on a budget
You spin me right round...
Cult film camera makers Lomography have released the Spinner 360 camera – it’s a decidedly retro model that lets you shoot 360 degree panoramic shots for less than expensive Panorama modes on DSLRs.
Lomo cameras are known for their quirkiness and affordability: shots often show over-saturated colours, strange effects and vignetting. Well, now you can get all the Lomo effects in a 360 with the Lomo Spinner 360.
Load it with any 35mm film, pull the trigger cord and the Lomo Spinner 360 automatically rotates on its axis, capturing images all the way round. There are aperture settings for outdoor and indoor shooting and you can fit eight 360-degree panoramas on a single roll of film. The camera also exposes the entire width of the film – so you get the cool sprocket holes in frame effect.
The Lomo 360 Spinner costs £115 and is available now from Lomography stores.
