Jabra Stone: a "revolutionary" Bluetooth headset
The Jabra Stone. Does it rock?
Jabra has unveiled its latest Bluetooth headset, claiming the Stone is nothing less than a “ground-breaking” and “revolutionary” device. Why? Well, the main innovation is the lack of an on-face microphone arm – one of the most unappealing aspects of existing Bluetooth headsets.
The Jabra Stone has an unusual shape that allows it to wrap around the back of your ear and still pick up your voice. It also slips into a neat little charger when not in use, looking a lot like a pebble in the process. Hence the name.
There’s support for Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and eSCO, eight hours of talk time and 12 days of standby battery life. The Stone also comes equipped with Noise Blackout Extreme noise cancellation technology, which claims to reduce ambient background noise without affecting voice quality.
The Stone is available exclusively at Carphone Warehouse, where it’ll set you back £99.99.
