Archos Clipper kicks Shuffle into touch!
Archos brings portable music player prices below the £20 mark
Bringing new meaning to the phrases “budget”, “affordable” and “entry-level” the Archos Clipper is a 2GB MP3 player that’s got the iPod Shuffle squarely in its sights. You see, the Clipper costs less than twenty of your fine English pounds!
The Archos Clipper provides you with a quick solution to your portable music problems at a recession-busting price. Granted, the Clipper isn’t going to be sporting the latest AMOLED touchscreen or bringing the latest in noise-cancellation kit, but for £18 what do you expect? It’s got 2GB of storage space and, erm, volume and playback controls. And that’s it.
But then, the Archos Clipper doesn’t claim to be anything other than an entry-level, budget player that’s small and light enough it won’t weigh you down when you’re out running. Considering you could get three Clippers for one iPod Shuffle, well, that’s a bargain in anyone’s books.
