The HTC Hero: now available with Spotify Premium

Spotify Mobile is now bringing limitless music streaming to Android phones, and 3 Mobile has just announced that it’ll be offering a tariff and handset package centred around the brilliant service. Its new deal, which kicks off in November, will deliver an Android-powered HTC Hero complete with 24 months of Spotify Premium.

Spotify Premium usually costs £9.99 a month, so that’s almost £240 worth of ad-free home streaming, not to mention access to the mobile edition of Spotify, which lets you queue up a huge cache of tunes at home before venturing out to listen to them on your phone.

The deal also includes an HTC Hero handset, plus 750 minutes of calls to other mobiles, unlimited 3-to-3 calls, unlimited texts, unlimited email, web browsing and Facebook, and unlimited Skype-to-Skype voice over IP calls. It costs £35 per month, plus an upfront fee of £99, and requires a 24-month commitment.

And according to 3, this is just the first of several products that will feature Spotify, with even Mobile Broadband likely to be offered with free access to the service.
