Hyundai unveils updated Santa Fe
Hyundai has updated its Santa Fe range with a new 2.2-litre diesel model and a cheaper pricing structure.
The new direct injection ‘R’ diesel engine offers 194bhp and 311lb ft torque, which represents a 26 percent increase in power over the previous model, and makes the Santa Fe capable of 0-62mph in 9.8 seconds.
But, as well as more performance, Hyundai says the updated Sante Fe can achieve an impressive 42mpg and, crucially, its CO2 emissions have been reduced to 176g/km.
The range has been simplified to just two trim levels – Style and Premium – with prices for the diesel model starting from £21,495.
For that you can expect 17-inch alloy wheels, parking sensors, ESP and air conditioning while paying more for the Premium specification adds 18-inch wheels, dual zone climate control, heated leather seats, and automatic lights and wipers.
